Annie’s Foundation aims to make books with commonly banned or challenged themes more accessible to children in our community. Research shows how important it is for children to see themselves in the books they read, but unfortunately books featuring diverse characters, or written by authors from marginalized populations, are popular targets for bans and challenges.

Annie’s Foundation is run by a team of volunteers, so you can rest assured that your donation is going to purchase books that will be handed out at community events for free.
